Quite a grey day here good ol' London, Ont. But despite the grey, I'm a little pleased, because it makes it easier to get good photos, at least for me. I feel like the lack of full sunlight keeps the photo clearer, not so much stark contrast in lighting. I had to keep the camera covered up under my jacket because I don't walk with an umbrella--too difficult to juggle an umbrella and a camera! I caught this little cutie this morning, it really dredges up those vintage feels!!
I'm a creature of habit, so I walk pretty much the same streets every day. But since I've started taking all these neighbourhood photos, I've found I've noticed so many "new" homes. This next one is truly a hidden gem. I had to do a little bit of acrobatics to get some minimally decent shots of Blackfriars Condos, they overlook Blackfriars Bridge and the Thames River. You have to go through a gate to get through to the grounds. It's a little bit of a secret wonderland in there. I'm so curious as to what they look like inside. This is truly a stunning building.
I'll attach a few more house photos. These are all in my 'hood. I've walked by them all for my 40 plus years and have really just noticed them all again. I snap a photo and then I come home and edit them. I caption them for Instagram and for my Facebook pages--it adds a little interest. Anyway, here are just a few of the houses I snapped and got to editing today... I hope you enjoy them...

This is new territory for me--blogging that is--and writing, frankly, so if you have any suggestions or ideas please let me know. You can contact me here through this site. Let me know what you think of the photos. Have a great day and thanks for reading.
